New restaurant, $9 million in improvements begin at Blackjack Cove

Bart Bagsby didn't hesitate when asked why he's "hocked everything I have" to buy the former Old Hickory Yacht Club on Riverside Road and turn it into Blackjack Cove
"The word 'opportunity' is stamped in big red letters all over it,'' Bagsby said.

Bart and Angela Bagsby of Gallatin have purchased the business, which is in Lakewood and Old Hickory. It has been informally known through the years as Old Hickory Marina, and the Bagsbys plan on about a $9 million investment over the next three years.
